Item Civcivlerde kronik aflatoksikosis üzerinde biyokimyasal araştırmalar(Uludağ Üniversitesi, 1987) Mert, Nihat; Yakışık, Mine; Antaplı, Mübeccel; Tanrıverdi, Meltem; Veteriner FakültesiMycotoxicosis is poisoning by the ingestion of toxins of fungal origin in foods which have been altered or damaged by the growth of toxin producing mould fungi. In this research the effects of aflatoxins which are produced by Aspergillus and Penicillium strains were 8tudied in chicks. Aflatoxin B1 dissolved in water, have been given orally 5 mcg/day per chick for two month8. Blood samples were collected from control and test groups, analyzed for blood glucose, total lipid, total protein, uric acid. Liver weight was also determined. The statistical importance were estihıated on the total lipid and total protein levels (P 0.05). Looking these findings we could conclude that aflatoxins cause changing blood parameters, iriter· lere with the metabolisms of lipid and protein.
