Özel gereksinimli bireylere yönelik cinsel eğitim konulu lisansüstü tezlerin sistematik derlemesi

Abstract

Cinsel eğitim, bireyin kendisinde meydana gelen değişiklikleri anlayabilme ve bu değişikliklere uygun davranma becerilerini geliştirmeyi amaçlayan önemli bir alandır. Bu önem doğrultusunda son yıllarda özel gereksinimli bireylerin cinsel eğitimleri konulu lisansüstü tezlerin sayısı artış göstermiştir. Bu sistematik derleme çalışmasında Türkiye’de özel gereksinimli bireylerin cinsel eğitimlerine yönelik yürütülen lisansüstü tezlerin betimsel ve yöntemsel açıdan incelenerek özel eğitim alanında cinsel eğitime yönelik kavramsal bir çerçeve sunmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanında 2025 lisansüstü teze ulaşılmış dahil etme ve dışlama kriterlerine uygun 21 lisansüstü tez betimsel ve yöntemsel açıdan müdahale içeren ve müdahale içermeyen tezler olmak üzere iki grupta incelenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular; incelemeye dahil edilen tezlerin en çok zihinsel yetersizliği olan bireylerle yürütüldüğü, özel gereksinimli bireylerin cinsel eğitimleri ile ilgili müdahale içermeyen tezlerde genellikle ebeveyn ve öğretmen görüşlerinin incelendiği ve en çok tarama modeli ile yürütüldüğü, müdahale içeren tezlerde en çok tek denekli araştırma yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı ve uygulanan müdahalelerin katılımcılar üzerinde etkili olduğu, çalışmaların çoğunda güvenirlik verilerinin toplandığı gözlemlenmiştir. Bu araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular alan yazındaki diğer çalışmaların bulguları ile tartışılmış ve gelecekte yapılacak araştırmalara yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Sexual education is an important field that aims to improve the individual's ability to understand the changes they experience and adapt accordingly. Reflecting this importance, the number of postgraduate theses on sexual education for individuals with special needs has increased in recent years. This systematic review aimed to present a conceptual framework for sexual education within special education by examining the postgraduate theses on the sexual education of individuals with special needs in Turkey, focusing on both descriptive and methodological aspects. Therefore, 2025 postgraduate theses were accessed from the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education database, and 21 postgraduate theses meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were examined descriptively and methodologically in two groups: with and without intervention. The findings of the study revealed that the majority of the theses included in the review focused on individuals with intellectual disabilities. The views of parents and teachers were generally examined in theses that did not include interventions on sexual education of individuals with special needs and were mainly conducted with the survey model. Single-subject research methods that included interventions were primarily used in these studies. The interventions applied were found effective for the participants, and reliable data were collected in most studies. The findings obtained from this study were compared with existing literature, and suggestions were made for future research.
