Türkiye kedilerinde ilk metorchis albidus (braun, 1893) bulgusu

Abstract

Bursa şehir merkezinden yakalanan 16 sokak kedisinin otopsisi yapılarak helmintolojik yönden incelenmiş, bunlardan 2 (% 12.5) sinde daha önce yurdumuzda varlığı bildirilmeyen Metorchis albidus Braun, 1893 (Trematoda: Opistorchidae) bulunmuştur. Kedilerden birinin karaciğerinden 9, diğerinden 21 olmak üzere 30 adet parazil toplanmış olup bunlann boyutlan 3.23-3.81.x1.46-1.71 mm. (Ortalama 3.6I.x1.59 mm), yumurtalarının , büyüklükleri ise 28.22-30.24x13.10- 20.6 ı.ı. (Ortalama 29.63 x 17.53 ı.ı.) olarak ölçülmüştür.Metorchis albidus Braun, 1893 (Trematoda: Opistorchidae) was found for the first time in cats in Türkiye. Two cats out of 16 (12.5 %) were infected with this parasites. A total of 30 Tremotodes were collected from liver. Their mesured dimensions were as follow: 3.23-3.81 x 1.46-1.71 mm. (Average 3.61 x 1.59 mm.), and dimensions of their eggs were 28.22-30.24 x 13.10-20.6 ı.ı- (Average 29.63 x 17.53 J.L).
