Degişik olum devrelerindeki astor karanfili kesme çiçeklerinin soğukta muhafazası üzerinde bir araştırma

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Astor karanfil çeşidinin, 4 olgunluk döneminde kesilen çiçekleri, su çektirilmeden depoya getirilmiş ve önce nemli pelur kağıda sarılarak, naylon torbalarda 0° ± 0.5°C'de soğuk kabin içerisine konmuşlardır. Çiçekler soğuk kabinden, ilk parti 3 gün sonra, diğer partiler birer hafta ara ile çıkarılmışlardır. Soğuk kabinden çıkarılan 1. ve 2. devredeki çiçekler, hasat olumu devresine gelememişlerdir. 4. devre çiçekler soğuk kabinde ancak 20 gün muhafaza edilebilmişlerdir. 3. devredeki çiçekler 17 güne kadar olan depolamada, hasat olumu devresine gelmişler ancak, bu sürenin üzerindeki depolamada hasat olumu devresine gelen çiçek sayısı 1/3 oranına düşmüştür. 3 . devredeki çiçekler depodan çıktıktan 4.5 gün sonra 4. devre durumuna gelmişlerdir. Soğuk depodan çıkan çiçeklerin çapları ara sında farklılıklar bulunmamıştır. 3. devre çiçekleri ortalama 4.6 gün vazo ömrüne sahip olurken, 4. devre çiçeklerinin vazo ömrü, muhafaza süresi arttıkça 7 günden 4 güne kadar kısalmıştır.

In this study, flowers of Astor carnation cultivar that were cut at 4 maturing stages brought to cold store without put them into water; and wrapped up into moist papers then they were placed in to cold ca bin, at O ± 0.5 C0 , in polyethylen bags. First flower lot was taken out after 3 days and then the others were taken out weekly time intervals. Flowers that were taken out from cold ca bin at first and second stages could not reach to harvest maturity stage. Flowers at fourth stage could be stored only 20 day sin cold cabin. Flowers at third stage reached to harvest maturity stage in a 1 7 day storage. However, flower amount that reached to harvest maturity decreased to a rate of J/3, in storing ouer this period. Flowers at third stage reached to fourth stage after they were tak en out from the store. There weren 't any differences in diorneters of flowers that were taken out. Flowers at third stage had a 4.6 day vase life; vase life of flowers at fourth stage was decreased from 7 to 4 days by increasing storage period.
