Bir yıl içinde kliniğimizde görülen gastroenterit olguları

Abstract

1 Eylül 1986 -·31 Ağustos 1987 tarihleri arasında polikliniğimize başvuran 1286 akut gastroenteritli olgudan kliniğimize yatırdığımız 207'sinin dosyaları retrospektif olarak incelendi. Olguların % 86 'sı 2 yaşın altında olup, bunların ortalama yaşları 8.7 aydı. Bölgemizde ishalin yaz aylarında artma göstermekle birlikte tüm yıl boyunca sürdüğü görüldü. Olguların % 47,8 'inde dehidratasyon mevcut olup, bununda çoğunluğu izonetremikti. Gaita kültürlerinde en sık rastlanan etken E. Coli idi.

Between September, I, 1986 and August 31, 1987, 1286 patients applied to our policlinic with acut gastroenteritis and 207 of them were treated in our clinic. We examined their registration, retrospectively. 86 % of the cases were under 2 years old, and the mean age was 8.7 months. We saw that in our region, though it's increasing during summer months, diarrhea cases can be seen through the year. In 47.8 % of cases dehidration was present, and the majority of them were isonatremic. E. coli was the most frequent agent we met at the stool cultures.
