Timsah Arena/Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye Stadyumu’na planlama kararları ve kullanıcı memnuniyeti çerçevesinden bir bakış

Abstract

Son yıllarda Türkiye’nin birçok kentinde olduğu gibi, Bursa’da da kentin ilk ve tek stadyumu aynı zamanda Cumhuriyet yapısı örneği olan Atatürk Stadyumu, yeni ve modern bir stadyum inşa edilmesi kararı sonucunda yıkılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, kentin yeni stadyumu olan Timsah Arena/Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye Stadyumu’nun kullanım sürecinde değerlendirilmesi yapılarak, mimari nitelikler bağlamında kullanıcı memnuniyeti irdelenmiştir. Geliştirilen kullanıcı memnuniyeti ölçeği Timsah Arena’nın aktif bir kullanıcısı olan 394 taraftara uygulanarak, ulaşılan verilerin SPSS programında analiziyle, taraftarların memnuniyet düzeyi, hangi faktörlerin memnuniyete etki ettiği ve eski ve yeni kent stadyumlarının kullanıcıdaki algısı tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, sosyal aktivite çeşitliliği ve dış mekan kullanımının taraftar memnuniyetini etkileyen en önemli faktör olduğunu gösterirken, sıralama stadyumun kent ile uyumu/ilişkisi faktörü ile devam etmektedir. Stadyumun güvenliğe ilişkin özellikleri ve planlama kararları ise kullanıcılarda en yüksek olumlu izlenim oluşturan faktördür. Yeni bir kent stadyumunun yapılması ile birlikte mevcut Atatürk Stadyumu tamamen yıkıldığından, uygulama kentsel bellek ve aidiyete zarar vermiştir. Timsah Arena’da sosyal yaşamı besleyecek olan alanların inşa edilmemiş olması sosyal boyutu daha da olumsuz etkilemiş, verimli kullanılamayan alan kente entegre olamamıştır. Kente özgün ve simgesel bir değer katan stadyumlar için sosyo-fiziksel ve yönetimsel boyutun birlikte ilerlemesi ve kullanıcı görüşlerinin tasarım sürecine dâhil edilmesi önem taşımaktadır.

In recent years, as in many cities of Turkey, Ataturk Stadium which is the first and only stadium of the city in Bursa, also an example of the Republican Era structure, was demolished as a result of the decision to build a new and modern stadium. Within the scope of this research, the satisfaction of the users was examined by evaluating the usage process of the new stadium of Bursa which is called as Timsah Arena and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Stadium . The users’ satisfaction scale developed was applied to 394 active users of Timsah Arena, and by analyzing the data obtained in the SPSS program, the level of satisfaction of the fans, which factors are effective on the satisfaction and the perception of the users of old and new city stadiums were determined. According to findings, the diversity of social activity areas and outdoor use are the most important factors affecting fan satisfaction, and the ranking continues the comformity of the stadium with the city. The security features and planning decisions of the stadium structure were the factors that made the most positive impression on the users. Since the Atatürk Stadium was completely destroyed with the construction of a new city stadium, the practice damaged the urban memory and belonging. The fact that the areas that will nourish social life were not built in the Timsah Arena, further affected the social dimension, and the area that could not be used efficiently could not be integrated into the city. For stadiums that add a unique and an emblematic value to the city, it is important that the socio-physical and administrative dimensions progress together and user views are included in the design process.
