Abstract
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer mortality in women worldwide. Elderly individuals make up a large part of the breast cancer population. If the advanced surgical options for early diagnosis, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormonotherapies, such as treatment options, as well as the success rate is high, targeted type of malignancy. In this study, elderly patients with breast cancer treatment options, their agents and the side effects of chemotherapy, type of operation, tumor stage, the effect of comorbid diseases and their survival are compered.Retrospective study of 99 patients over the age of 70 who consulted to Oncology Science were included. Patients with comorbid disorders, as well as the methods used in their treatments and surgical treatments, lymphatic pathological examination of the tumor, presence of vascular invasion and spread of extracapsuler, estrogen, progesterone and c-erb B2 reseptor positivity, tumor stage and histological subgroups statistically by considering the effects of these factors, disease free survival as was put forward. The study was survival of the positive effects of the two factors. They were hormonal and radiotherapy. Survival of patients without radiotherapy and hormonotherapy, according to the people who recieved these treatments were found to be shorter. Contrary to the positive impact of chemotherapy on survival was observed morbid.Advanced age, radiation therapy and patients with breast cancer survival and the success of treatment is similar to the literature related to the rule of hormonotherapy.
