İnkarsere obturator herni: bir olgu sunumu

Abstract

Obturator herni kasık bölgesi fıtıklarının nadir bir formudur. Acil servise başvuruda sıklıkla nonspesifik semptomlar eşlik etmesi nedeni ile erken dönemde tanı konulması şüphe ve dikkat gerektirir. Bu çalışmada kasık ağrısı ile acil servise başvuran ve obturator herni tanısı ile acil opere edilen 65 yaşında kadın hasta sunulmaktadır. Olgumuzda olduğu gibi obturator herni genellikle yaşlı, multipar, zayıf kadınlarda görülür ve kesin tedavisi cerrahidir. Postoperatif sonuçları etkileyen en önemli faktörse cerrahi tedavinin zamanlamasıdır. Kasık ağrısı ve ileus bulgularıyla acil servise başvuran hastalarda, inkarsere obturator herniler ayırıcı tanıda akılda tutulmalı ve gecikmeden definitif cerrahi uygulanmalıdır.Obturator hernia is a rare type of groin hernias. Since patients admit emergency room (ER) with nonspesific symptoms, its early diagnosis requires suspicion and attention. In this study, we present a 65-year-old female patient who admitted to the ER with groin pain and underwent emergency surgery with the diagnosis of obturator hernia. Obturator hernia is more frequent in elderly, multiparous and weak women similar to the case presented in this study, and its definitive treatment is surgery. The most important factor affecting the outcomes is timing of surgery. Incarcerated obturator hernia should be kept in mind and prompt surgery should be performed in cases presenting with groin pain and ileus symptoms.
