Fenâ: Son dönem mutezilesinde teklîfin sonlandırılması üzerine tartışmalar

Abstract

Mutezilî metinlerde görülen kavramlardan biri de fenâdır. Fenâ özellikle teklîfin bitişi ve varlığın sonu hakkındaki tartışmaları ifade eden bir kavramdır. Mutezilî düşüncede teklîfin sonlandırılması hususunda iki temel görüş vardır: Birinci görüş teklîfin, âlemin bütünüyle yok edilmek sûretiyle sonlandırılacağı yönündedir. “İ‘dâm” denen bu görüş, Behşemiyye tarafından kabul edilmiştir. İkinci görüş ise teklîfin ölümle sonuçlanacağı şeklindedir. Buna göre âlem ve âlemdeki varlıklar yok olmayacak, sadece çürüyerek parçalara ayrılacaktır. “Tefrîk” denen bu görüş ise Hüseyniyye tarafından kabul edilmiştir.

One of the concepts mentioned in the Mutazilite theological texts is annihilation (fanā’). It especially refers to the debates on the end of imposition (taklīf) and beings. In the Mutazilite thought there are two different views on this issue. The first one, which is called “extermination (i‘dām)” and held by Bahshamiyyah, is that the imposition will be finished when the universe is entirely 426 brought into non-existence. The second one is that the imposition will come to an end by death. Accordingly, the universe with its all components will be not exterminated, but just divided into parts. This view called “decomposition (tafrīq)” is maintained by Husayniyyah.
