Müzik eğitimi bölümlerinin öğrenci yapısı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Müzik Eğitimi Bölümü öğrencilerinin yapısı, ağırlıklı olarak sosyo-ekonomik boyutuyla, olabildiğince geçmişle karşılaştırılarak gelişim süreci içinde incelenmiştir. Müzik eğitimi bölümlerine giderek sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi yüksek öğrencilerin girdiği; özellikle köy, kasaba kökenli öğrencilerin girişinde çok büyük bir düşüş olduğu gözlenmektedir. Bu durum eğitimde fırsat eşitliği açısından olumsuz bir görünüm oluşturmanın yanında eğitim-öğretimde de sorunlar yaratmaktadır. Soruna çözüm olarak, ilkokul sonrasından başlayarak, alt sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi düşük öğrencilerin de okuyabilmesini sağlayacak, yeterli yatılılık ve burs olanaklarının yaratılması önerilmiştir.

In this study the structure of the students at the Music Department is researched especially by their socio-economic positions comparing with their previous life standarts through their achievements up today. It is observed that every year the students who have the chance of being accepted to the Music Department are surprisingly from high socio- economic classes, and there is unavoidable decrease in the number of the students originated from a village or a town. This situation causes problems in education and instuction, and it results a negative aspect about the equality in education. As a solution, it is suggested that following primary education, a sufficient educational opportunity like a boarding school or a scholarship facilities should be supplied to low socioeconomic positioned students who expect to have educational support.
